About a year ago, around this very time, I launched Ginni for President: a blog created to cover the U.S. elections and bring young people closer to a political reality often seen as distant but crucial for all of us. It’s been only one year… yet to me, it feels like much more.
Over the past twelve months, I successfully completed high school in Italy, applied to several international universities – and was admitted to both the University of Texas at Austin and Maastricht University. But I also realized something important: to be “global,” you don’t always need to move across the world. I’ll probably do that later on, but for now, my choice has been Global Governance at Tor Vergata.
And it’s here that I’ve already found the true international spirit – even before the official start of the program. Not only thanks to my Italian classmates, but also to the many international students who contribute every day to making this path unique. A place where the world truly comes alive.
That’s why today Ginni for President is entering a new phase:

no longer just my personal diary, but an open and collective space,

a meeting point for those who want to share and understand our changing world,

a place for curiosity and dialogue, where we can grow together.
And this is where you come in: if you have an idea, an article, a reflection, or even just a thought, s reach out to me directly. You don’t need to be an “expert”: all it takes is curiosity, critical thinking, and the will to look beyond borders.
This is the beginning of a new chapter.
