Hey everyone, today I wanted to share an exciting personal achievement with you: I got into the University of Texas at Austin! When I returned from my exchange year in the U.S., I realized just how much that experience had shaped me and how connected I felt to such a dynamic and stimulating country. I didn’t want to lose touch with a place that had given me so much, both academically and personally. That’s why, in addition to launching this blog to keep discussing current events and global issues, I decided to take a big step forward and apply to American universities. After months of preparation, studying, and waiting, I can finally say that the first milestone has been reached: I have been admitted to the University of Texas at Austin,to study International Relations and Global Studies. I chose this major because it combines my passion for politics, diplomacy, and international affairs with a broad, global perspective on contemporary challenges. I dream of a future where I can actively contribute to building bridges between cultures and work in international relations, perhaps within a global institution or as a diplomat. This journey hasn’t been easy: preparing applications, studying for required exams, writing essays, gathering recommendation letters… It's been a long and demanding process. And it’s not over yet! I’m still waiting for responses from other universities and, most importantly, updates on scholarships, which are crucial to making this dream a reality. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned throughout this experience, it’s that chasing your dreams is always worth it. When you work hard with passion and determination, results will come—one way or another. I want to express my deepest gratitude to my family, who has always supported me every step of the way, to my teachers and everyone who believed in me, and, of course, to you—my blog readers. Your support, messages, and interest in the topics I cover have motivated me even more to keep pushing forward. My blog will definitely stay active! In the coming months, I’ll keep you updated, both on my college admissions journey and on the elections and other important topics. Thank you all so much for being part of this journey with me.
